Cliches to live by.
1) When a shot has high saturation and is blown out the audience is transported to the past.
2) When a person says, "is anyone there," someone is always there.
3) When a plane is low on fuel, the hero usually taps the gas guage as if that will help.
4) Dogs always know who's bad, and bark at them.
5) A dying person's last words will always be coherent and significant.
These are the only ones I can come up with, but if anyone has any other favorite film cliches, let me know.
